Track Your New BMW Production Order

How To Track Your New BMW Production Order Status

With the current supply chain issues affecting manufacturers nationwide, BMW has made it extremely easy for you to track the production status of your new BMW. This system allows you to track your order from the initial build all the way to delivery. You will be able to see a timeline of your vehicle’s production and approximately when it will be ready for delivery at the dealership.

Log Into My BMW.

First Time BMW Owners:

  1. Go to BMWUSA.com
  2. Select “Owners” in the menu and click “Register for my BMW”
  3. Enter your information and set up an account.
  4. Once you click “Submit”, check your email to activate your BMW Login.
  5. Once you open the email select “My Garage”

Current BMW Owners:

  1. Go to BMWUSA.com
  2. Select “Owners” in the menu and “Sign into My BMW”
  3. Login with the username and password of the primary account holder.
  4. Select “My Garage”

Add Your BMW Order To Your Account For Tracking

  1. Click “Track My BMW” on the top My Garage menu
  2. Click “Add Vehicle”
  3. If you already have a VIN number, add that, if not click “enter production number”
  4. Note: if you only have the production number, the specs on the tracking system may not be exact. This will update once vehicle production begins.
  5. Once the vehicle is added you can click “My Vehicles” in the My Garage menu, and then “Track Status”
  6. This will bring up your production timeline.

In general the build process takes about 4-6 weeks for vehicles produced in the USA, and about 8-12 weeks for vehicles made outside of the USA. (Special order requests may extend the timeline)
