THE BMW 330 NAME, EXPLAINED.

If you've driven a BMW 330i, you'll notice a change. BMW USA's price list names the new four-cylinder models the BMW 330 and BMW 330 xDrive, and the six-cylinder M Performance model the BMW M350 xDrive. The current-generation BMW 330i is still on sale, so you'll see both names on our website for a while. If you're shopping today, see our BMW 330i for sale near Darien page.

BMW M350 xDRIVE

BMW M350 xDrive sits at the top of the gasoline lineup. Its 3.0-liter inline-six makes 437 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque, and BMW quotes 0–60 mph in 3.9 seconds. xDrive all-wheel drive is standard, as are Adaptive M Suspension, variable sport steering, an M Sport differential, M Sport brakes and the M Sport package. Starting MSRP is $65,900, plus $1,350 destination and handling.

BMW has also announced Drift Moment, a rear-wheel-drive setting for the BMW M350 xDrive that BMW says is designed for controlled cornering slides. Ask our team when it becomes available.

330 OR 330 xDRIVE FOR CONNECTICUT.

The two four-cylinder models share 255 hp, 295 lb-ft and a 0–60 mph time of 5.9 seconds. BMW 330 is rear-wheel drive, and BMW 330 xDrive adds BMW's all-wheel-drive system for $2,000 more in MSRP.

Many Fairfield County drivers choose xDrive for the snow and freezing rain that can hit I-95, the Merritt Parkway and the hilly roads around New Canaan and Wilton, since it adds traction when pulling away and climbing on slick surfaces. If your BMW is garaged and you run dedicated winter tires, the rear-wheel-drive BMW 330 is a sound choice too. Either way, the right tires for the season matter.

BMW PANORAMIC iDRIVE COMES TO THE 3 SERIES.

Inside, the new BMW 3 Series gets BMW Panoramic iDrive, BMW's newest display and control layout.

  • BMW Operating System X runs the system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • A BMW 3D Head-Up Display is available.
  • Driving Assistant Plus with BMW Symbiotic Drive is standard, and available Highway Assist allows attentive hands-free driving on qualifying highways.

BMW i3, THE ELECTRIC 3 SERIES.

The fully electric member of the family is the 2027 BMW i3 50 xDrive. It starts at $61,500 MSRP, plus $1,350 destination and handling, and its two electric motors make 463 hp and 476 lb-ft of torque, with 0–60 mph in 4.5 seconds. BMW estimates its range at 446–468 miles, based on preliminary BMW AG testing using EPA test procedures. That isn't an official EPA rating yet, and real-world range varies with temperature, driving style and charging conditions. It supports DC charging at up to 400 kW on compatible chargers.

BMW i3 shares the gasoline models' first-quarter 2027 U.S. launch. BMW also says a BMW i3 M60 xDrive is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
