I can personally guarantee that the BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicles go through one of the most extensive inspections in the automotive industry. Before we even get to start our inspection, all of the vehicles are reviewed for overall condition. There can be no history of extensive body damage, no major mechanical problems and the maintenance records are thoroughly inspected for up to date inspections. Then we put each vehicle through an entire battery of tests inspecting each component. Everything, from engine performance to the operation of interior lights, is inspected. We confirm that all maintenance items on all the systems are current. If something isn't working, it is automatically repaired or replaced. After all this, it gets to wear a very special name, "Certified Pre-Owned BMW". It can now be backed by a special BMW protection plan which provides coverage on the car for up to six years or 100,000 miles from the original service date. Only then does it receive approval for the legendary BMW Roadside Assistance. |
Warranty - Overview The Certified Pre-Owned BMW Warranty protects you against defects in materials or workmanship for a wide range of vehicle components. The Warranty is administered by BMW of North America, LLC, ensuring that covered repairs are performed by BMW-trained technicians using only genuine BMW replacement parts. And, since this is a BMW-backed program you won't have to wait for a third-party adjuster to decide whether your repair is covered. Your BMW center can make the determination right on the spot. Although the Certified Pre-Owned BMW Limited Warranty is extremely comprehensive, it is not an extension of the original 4-year/50,000 mile New BMW Vehicle Limited Warranty. The Certified Pre-Owned BMW Limited Warranty takes over when the BMW New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires, and the coverage it provides is somewhat different from the new car warranty.
